Constant Toothache
Call Loudoun Dental Associates (LDA) as soon as you feel discomfort or pain. (703) 542-7600. Be sure to rinse the mouth with warm water to clean it out. Gently use dental floss to remove any food caught between the teeth.
For objects stuck in the mouth, try to gently remove with floss but do not try to remove it with sharp or pointed instruments.

If the tooth was broken or chipped, wrap the broken tooth in wet gauze or a wet towel. Rinse your mouth with warm water and apply ice to the side of your face where the tooth is damaged. Schedule an emergency visit with LDA immediately and bring the tooth (in the wet gauze) with you to your appointment.

- If you can’t place it back into the gum, hold the tooth under your tongue or between your cheek and gum, and schedule an emergency dental visit with Loudoun Dental Associates.
